Regeringen indgik i april 2007 et forlig med en række af Folketingets partier om en handlingsplan for offensiv global markedsføring af Danmark.

Branding Danmark initiativet blev iværksat for at stå stærkt i den globale konkurrence om tiltrækning af kreative og kompetente medarbejdere, turister, studerende, investeringer og globale markedsandele.

In 2007 an agreement was made between the government (Denmark’s Liberal Party and the Conservatives) and the Danish Social Democrats, the Danish Social-Liberal Party and the Danish People’s Party on an Action Plan for Global Marketing of Denmark. The Action Plan is intended to generate a clear and positive image of Denmark abroad to ensure that Denmark will continue to hold a strong position in the global economy. brandingdanmark.dk gives you an overview on the Action Plan and on initiatives, agencies and contact persons involved.
